Bls Jobs Report April 2024. Over the month, employment rose in home health care. Economy added 142,000 jobs in august 2024, 28,000 more than in july.
When spread through the prior year, the average monthly job gain from april 2023 through march 2024 was 173,500 versus nearly 242,000, an analysis of bls data. Health care added 45,000 jobs in september, below the average monthly gain of 57,000 over the prior 12 months.
